Why You Should Be Using Cold Pressed CBD Oil

You may have heard of cold pressing before, when you take a trip to the supermarket and shop for Olive Oil or similar cooking oils. But have you ever heard of Cold Pressed CBD oil?

Cold pressing is a common practice with products that contain delicate ingredients that can be damaged easily, reducing their health benefits. In some cases, harsh extraction methods can even render some healthful ingredients into harmful ones, such as with seed oils.

Extraction methods matter, and result in a different end product. Cold pressing is widely recognised to closely preserve the original composition of compounds found in the plants that they are derived. When it comes to Cold Pressing CBD, it means the unique balance of cannabinoids, terpenes, flavinoids and other phytochemicals found in the plant remain in a similar balance as they would exist in the original plant.

For this reason, you could say that cold pressed CBD is of the most 'natural' extracts possible.

Cold Pressed CBD Oil Capsules

Cold pressing is a mechanical process, that simply leverages force to 'press' the natural oils from Hemp flowers. The oils that are extracted include the cannabinoids like CBD, CBG and CBD, and terpenes such as Limonene, Pinene and Myrcene. One of the reasons cold pressing isn't widely used for CBD extraction is because it is a more gentle process, which means some CBD remains within the original plant material. It doesn't make for an efficient extraction for people looking to maximise profit, but its great if you don't mind that and just want the best extract available : )

Other methods of extraction are highly effective at extracting the maximum amount of compounds from the plant, but have to rely on more aggressive means in order to do so. Some still result in a decent end product, but there is often a trade off as this may disrupt the balance of cannabinoids, terpenes and other delicate compounds. This means that the extract is less 'natural' and may alter the unique effects that occur when Hemp compounds interact and synergise, which is known as the entourage effect.

In short, the entourage effect refers to Hemp compounds working as a team to produce an effect that is more potent than would occur if the compounds were working alone.

We will be sharing loads more on Cold Pressed Hemp, and its many benefits. We'll also be re-introducing our capsules very soon exclusively with Cold Pressed CBD, which is also rich in other Cold Pressed Cannabinoids and Terpenes.
