CBD does not get you high, is non-addictive and possesses diverse beneficial properties. Substances with beneficial properties that are non-addictive and non-psychoactive are legal.

We ensure our products contain CBD that has been extracted by supercritical CO2 extraction. This is considered the industry standard method, as it enables the extraction of many other beneficial plant compounds from cannabis and hemp whilst minimising residual impurities. These are known as full spectrum extracts and contain other cannabinoids (not THC), terpenes, flavinoids and phytochemicals. When these chemicals remain together they provide an enhanced experience known as the entourage effect.

More recently we have explored the use of Cold Pressed CBD extraction, as it appears to be more gentle and preserves more of the plants volatile compounds, closer to the original make up of the plant.

Everyone has a different genetic makeup and endocannabinoid system, therefore theres no one or optimal dose. A good way of finding your sweet spot is to start low and gradually and systematically increase whilst tracking your responses to the oil.

One of the founders holds an MSc in personalised nutrition and completed his thesis on the interaction of cannabinoids with the human endocannabinoid system and how this affects health and disease. He is also a registered nutritionist. We always recommend general practitioners be sought out as the first point of contact with regards to personal health decisions.

Our brand is listed on the dossier of Gen Canna and The CBD Group, and is under application #RP240. We use Gen Canna/The CBD Group Broad Spectrum CBD Distillate. Our drops use this base extract with a bespoke mixture of added terpenes which make our formulas functional and bespoke to our brand.

Our Nightcaps use a Cold Pressed CBD extract which does not fall under the Novel Foods regulation, and is therefore exempt and requires no authentication.
